Lochard to upgrade and operate the City’s Airport Noise Management Program through its NoiseOfficeTM Services. The City of Chicago has awarded a 5-Year, $5.4M contract to Lochard Corporation to update and manage the City's airport noise management system. The contract includes a complete upgrade to the monitoring system for O'Hare and Midway International Airports including additional noise monitors to measure the impact of the O'Hare Modernization Project. Lochard will upgrade, support and operate the new monitoring system working with its partners Landrum and Brown and Barry Technologies. |

Mineta - San Jose International Airport (SJC) has replaced its Airport Monitor System with a comprehensive WebTrak 2.0 solution that provides public access to SJC flight, noise and weather information in near real-time. The system, deployed in only 5 days, is a quantum leap in public display technology for airports. WebTrak 2.0 displays historical data, aircraft positions and altitude, flight information and any recorded noise levels. In addition, users can easily select their location to see what’s relevant to their area and enter queries and complaints online, directly to the airport’s noise management system. |

Leeds, UK --- BAA has welcomed the positive community response to the launch of WebTrak at the 3 major London airports; Heathrow, Gatwick and Stansted. The launch of WebTrak is considered an important development within the airports’ noise communications strategy, and access to the application is prominently displayed on each of the BAA websites. Within two weeks of launch, www.baa.com/noise was included in the list of "101 really useful websites" from the UK’s Independent Newspaper. |

WebTrak 2.0 combines near real-time and 60 days of past noise, flight tracks, weather, noise investigations and complaint entry into a fun-to-use public website. |
