Boston, USA --- Lochard, the world leader in Airport Noise and Operations Management Systems, announced today that the first ANOMS 8 systems had gone live in San Diego, Birmingham (UK) and Fort Lauderdale Executive airports.
Lochard first showcased its latest ANOMS System 8 solution at its annual User Forums in San Diego and Rome last November. The fourth generation airport noise management solution is the result of an extensive 3 year R&D program combining state of the art technologies with over 15 years experience at over 130 airports.
“Our clients asked us to focus our R&D on four key themes – to spend less time managing their systems – to streamline routine tasks – to produce publication ready reports – to share ANOMS capabilities throughout the airport and the community. We’re pleased by the initial response from our clients – it looks like we’re right on target” said Mike Rikard-Bell, President - Americas.
“Our partnership with Microsoft enabled us to harness the strengths of the .net framework to take ANOMS capabilities and robustness to the next level. We’re proud that ANOMS System 8 is the first .net and Windows 2003 certified solution in our industry” said Nate Higbie, VP Technology
Lochard reports overwhelming response for ANOMS System 8 from its existing clients and new airports wanting to step up to ANOMS System 8. The company has built a global rollout squad to meet the strong deployment demand. The next wave of ANOMS 8 systems are contracted to come online in San Francisco, Long Beach, Fort Lauderdale International, Boca Raton, Oakland, and Luxembourg airports over the next few months. The company is working closely with its clients to coordinate smooth rollouts and to enhance its service offerings using ANOMS System 8 remote management capabilities. San Francisco International Airport hosted a meeting of Lochard’s west coast clients in late April.
“We’re excited about the new capabilities of ANOMS8, as are the other airports that participated in the recent Users’ Forum. As a group, all of the West Coast users are working closely with Lochard to ensure that the new ANOMS 8 system meets the needs and expectations of not just the Airports, but our surrounding communities, as well.” said Mike McCarron, Director - Bureau of Community Affairs at SFO
Lochard will be announcing a number of additional ANOMS System 8 rollout contracts in the coming months. |
