Boston, USA --- The Columbus Regional Airport Authority has selected Lochard Corporation to install its 4th generation ANOMS System 8 Airport Noise and Operations Monitoring System. ANOMS System 8 will form an integral component in CRAA’s program to manage Environmental Capacity at its three airports - Port Columbus International, Rickenbacker International and Bolton Field. “CRAA needs a long term partner committed to ongoing research and development to ensure our system can grow to meet our evolving needs. After a comprehensive selection process we found that Lochard and its ANOMS System 8 solution meets the needs of the CRAA's Noise Compatibility Program. “ - Bernard F. Meleski, Director, Airport Planning & Development, CRAA ANOMS System 8 will enable CRAA to spend less time managing their system, streamline routine tasks, produce publication ready reports and share ANOMS capabilities throughout the airports and with their surrounding communities. The new system will include thirteen of Lochard’s latest internet EMU noise monitors to achieve unmatched aircraft noise monitoring capabilities. The new system will replace the BAe TAMIS system in use since 1999. “We’re pleased to be working with CRAA to support the next step in the evolution of their environmental management program. CRAA joins a growing community of progressive airports using a 4 th generation strategy to manage their Environmental Capacity.
