Lochard Launches SkyTrak At AAAE, Los Angeles Print
28 Apr 2003

Boston, MA --- Lochard, the world's leading supplier of airport noise and flight track monitoring systems, officially launched its newest solution for tracking aircraft from take-off to touchdown at the 75th Annual American Association of Airport Executives Conference and Exposition, held in Los Angeles.

With Lochard's newest solution, airports now have the ability to streamline their operations through the monitoring of aircraft traffic from take-off to touchdown. SkyTrak's live situation displays for inbound aircraft provide operations teams the information they need to optimize resources as delays and diversions unfold. SkyTrak's positive live identification of operators and airframes recovers lost landing fees faster. Community web displays, better noise monitoring data, more accurate FIDS and instant emergency response displays are just a few of the rich range of SkyTrak applications.

SkyTrak is Lochard's own Mode S passive terminal area radar that combines international enroute tracking and national weather coverage to provide the total picture of aircraft operations. It's from Lochard, so you know it works. It's powered by technology from Dimensions International and enhanced by Flight Explorer two of the most trusted names in aviation.

SkyTrak is the latest in tracking technology with numerous advantages over other passive radar systems including more accurate tracking, live flight plan and Mode S identification. It’s integration of international enroute and weather data makes it unique.

"With SkyTrak, airport managers now have the ability to make sure every player, every element, and every aspect of their airport operations work hand-in-hand towards a common goal: to operate their airport more efficiently," states Mike Rikard-Bell, President of Lochard Corporation.
