Boston, MA --- Lochard, the world's leading supplier of airport noise and flight track monitoring systems, announced its expansion into the Caribbean with a contract win in the Dominican Republic. A new consortium whose partners include YVR International, Ogden Corporation and local Dominican firm Operadora de Aeropuertos Del Caribe, AERODOM operates 4 airports in the Dominican Republic, including the Las Americas International Airport serving the capital Santo Domingo. AERODOM Director Alex Santana has stated: "We have made a commitment to the government and the Dominican people to place the airport services at levels above other Latin American and Caribbean countries." The consortium's management is committed to ensuring that international environmental standards are met, which includes noise monitoring. |
