WEBTRAK 2.0 --- Lochard has deployed WebTrak 2.0, a next generation airport noise website that is the first and only airport community outreach website to display all the information needed by the local community to investigate airport noise issues. WebTrak 2.0 combines near real-time and 60 days of past noise, flight tracks, weather, noise investigations and complaint entry into a fun-to-use public website.
“Our upgraded WebTrak 2.0 is the culmination of 2 year's worth of work and gives our community an easy option to report a disturbance,” said Long Beach Airport Noise Office Manager, Dennis Rambeau. “It's amazing that once registered, you can log in, find the aircraft, click the “Report Complaint” button, and then WebTrak will automatically populate all of the flight details into the complaint form. You then enter the nature of the disturbance and simply click to submit it. That's it! Once submitted, the complaint goes directly into our Airport's Noise and Operations Monitoring System, and sends a confirmation email. It's very easy to use. I would hope that the increased level of information that WebTrak gives our community will elevate our credibility as a responsible neighbor.”WebTrak 2.0 opens new lines of communication between the public and any airport's noise program, and is a simple add-on to noise monitoring systems. Lochard will be deploying the next generation WebTrak 2.0 to its global network of over 130 airports using Lochard ANOMS systems, as well as to other airport noise systems.
