Lochard, working with its Czech partner MaRexcom, has secured an €5m+ contract to deliver NoiseOffice™ Services to Prague Ruzyne Airport for the next 11 years. NoiseOffice™ is a subscription service providing the information needed to run an airport noise program, including reliable & precise monitoring of aircraft noise impact and routine reports and powerful investigation tools. NoiseOffice™ has been adopted by major airport organisations around the world including BAA and Airservices Australia and is driving a new trend in airport noise management.NoiseOffice™ provides:
The airport chose MaRexcom and Lochard’s NoiseOffice service because of their track record in delivering NoiseOffice to other airports and because of the innovation in the ANOMS noise and track keeping platform. ANOMS NoiseOffice will free the airport staff to focus on stakeholder engagement at a lower total cost of operation than owning and operating a noise system. As part of the contract, Lochard will deploy 13 EMU noise monitors linked to Lochard’s ANOMS Noise and Track Monitoring technology running in Lochard’s Class A data centre. MaRexcom, in conjunction with Lochard’s NoiseOffice team, will operate the system on behalf of the airport. A series of specialised reports will provide the information that the airport needs to manage its noise abatement policies. Prague Airport’s noise office staff will use ANOMS to perform ad-hoc analysis and complaint handling. Specific reports around noise and track keeping, data collection and data grooming services are all provided by Lochard. “We are very pleased to have secured this long term partnership with Prague Airport to support their noise program. NoiseOffice is really gathering momentum in the market as airports, both large and small, are choosing to focus on engaging their stakeholders rather than managing technology” said Phil Stollery, Vice president Lochard EMEA. |
